Terms of service
The short version: pay only for what you buy, 7-day refunds without interrogation, scan any public website but do not abuse the service, and reports are measurements — not guarantees. The long version follows.
Effective September 5, 2026.
The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and ByteBunny, LLC ("we," "us"), the South Carolina company that operates UptickIQ at uptickiq.com. By using UptickIQ you agree to them. If you are using UptickIQ for a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.
What UptickIQ is
UptickIQ scans websites and public market data — search results, maps listings, reviews, directories, advertising transparency records, link indexes — and produces reports, scores, comparisons, and recommendations. Everything in a report is measured from sources available at scan time.
Your account
Some features require an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us a real email address — it is how your scans and purchases find their way back to you.
Purchases and refunds
- Prices are shown at purchase. Reports and comparisons are one-time purchases; a full report includes one verification re-scan of the same site within 30 days.
- If a purchase disappointed you, email support@uptickiq.com within 7 days and we will refund it. No interrogation.
- Prices may change; changes never apply retroactively to something you already bought.
Fair use
You may scan any publicly accessible website, including competitors — that is the product. You may not:
- Use automated tools, multiple emails, or other tricks to circumvent scan limits or run scans in bulk;
- Resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service itself;
- Use UptickIQ for anything unlawful, including harassment.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service. If we close your account without cause on our side, we will refund any unused purchase.
Reports are information, not guarantees
Reports reflect what public sources showed at the moment of the scan. Search results move, listings change, and third-party data sources are sometimes wrong or incomplete. A score is a measurement, not a promise: following our recommendations does not guarantee rankings, traffic, or revenue, and nothing in a report is legal, financial, or professional advice. Where our data is wrong, tell us — we would rather correct it than defend it.
Ownership
We own UptickIQ — the software, the scoring methodology, the design, the name. Your reports are yours to use, download, share, and hand to your web developer or AI assistant. Don't republish reports at scale as if they were your own product. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything (though we say thank you).
Limits of our liability
UptickIQ is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows: we disclaim implied warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost rankings, lost data), and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow parts of this paragraph, in which case it applies to the extent permitted.
Ending things
You can stop using UptickIQ at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may discontinue features or the service; if we ever shut down entirely, we will give notice and honor refunds for recent unused purchases.
Housekeeping
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, United States. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stands. If we update these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
